Should you care about Consistency?

--

Here is another post straight from the gut and heart. As always, no filtered thoughts :)

When I started my podcasting journey in 2020, people thought it is not going to survive too long. Fast forward to 2023, we’ve released 314 episodes on The Guiding Voice, 37 on TGV Telugu, and 6 on TGV Hindi respectively. (And trust me — we are not going to stop here). The journey has just begun.

Today, I want to highlight the importance of consistency.

Consistency is important than perfection

Being consistent in producing content has built a strong reputation and established credibility among everyone who is watching TGV closely, actively, and passively.

Here are a few things that happened to me by being consistent.

1) The Guiding Voice — TGV has become a synonym of consistency which is attracting top speakers from across the globe. e.g. When I registered on Podcastguests.com and opened up for guest nominations for the first time, we received 283 applicants from experts across different domains, industries, and countries. The second instance has brought 457 applications within just 1 week. And the common theme amongst the applicants is that they are impressed with the consistency.

2) Guests who have backed off from joining as speakers during the initial 1 year, started showing up voluntarily NOW without me chasing them :)

3) I’ve been receiving numerous accolades from ex-colleagues, school friends, college friends, bosses, leaders, and many strangers too — people who have been observing closely and from far distance started reaching out to me and appreciating the consistency

4) Attracting top-notch speakers who have excelled in their careers and lives. They are ready to wait 3 to 4 months to get their episode aired. But they want to be on the show. The Guiding Voice

5) Strategic collaborations and partnerships are getting created — just because of consistency. Opportunities will knock on the door by being consistent and through continuous improvement. Do something at least 0;01% better than you did last time and you will create wonders!

I have been demonstrating consistency by walking the talk, leading by example, and most importantly showing up. And I strongly believe that being consistent helps in building an empire and chasing my own dreams.

Now that you have read about what consistency has done to me, it is your turn to share how consistency has helped you personally & professionally. And how are you ensuring to be consistent?

Leave your comments and I’d be happy to see & follow them.

Thanks for reading.
