Let us learn the basics of identities first because identities are VERY important! But first, let us cover some more basics:

Transgenders vs transsexuals

Sexual Orientation is whom you feel attracted to and Gender identity is whom you feel you are.

Gender expression is how you express your gender identity.

What about CIS and Trans?

All-trans people are not transsexual but all transsexuals are trans.

Only those people who undergo sex reassignment surgery are transsexual.

Why are pronouns important?

CIS means the person who identifies with the sex they were assigned at birth. Trans means people whose gender identity is the opposite of their assigned sex

How to know your sexual orientation and Do you need to be sexually active to know your sexual orientation?

It is highly wrong to call someone by the pronoun that they don’t associate with themselves, so it becomes important for everyone to use the correct pronouns.

The answer is NO, just like a male or a female child, a special child also starts to know about his or her sexual orientation, when he/she reaches adolescence.
