Begin with the end in mind

--

I am sure, you might have come across this powerful statement in The 7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen Covey.

Many times, we underestimate our potential and doubt ourselves to take up challenges and embark on “the journey”.

But once we positively imagine what we are going to get by doing something, think about rewards, recognition, money, and most importantly the satisfaction of creating an impact. It will motivate us to take that particular step.

I’ve embarked on a few initiatives from scratch in the last few years by thinking about the impact, thinking about results, thinking about challenges, thinking about constraints, opportunities, risks, threats, etc.

So far, the journey has been of mixed results. But I am not going to give up because I began with the END in mind.

I will start sharing about the “END” that I am imagining in future posts.

However, I am curious to learn from you about what initiatives have you taken and what end you have in mind.

Thanks for reading.

Feel free to share my blog with friends and colleagues whomever you think can benefit from these musings :)
